I feel so blessed and grateful to have this opportunity to record the ‘Be Known’ project for Spiritmuse Records. I’m most thankful to work with these exceptional musicians and extraordinary human beings, Corey Wilkes, Alex Harding and Ian Maksin. Thea and Mark from Spiritmuse are also wonderful folks to work with. The entire collaboration for the ‘Be Known’ project has been an exhilarating revelation. I want to thank master visionary artist Nep Sidhu, storytelling genius/videographer Jim Quatrokki, most gifted engineer Rob Ruccia, and sage of the written word, music critic and historian Howard Mandel. These words are for you the listener and supporter of spiritually inspired creative music.
The ancestors are amongst us.
Listen with your essence
And they will reveal things.
Angels then come to dance,
Allowing heaven to be experienced upon the now.
Fear not your feelings.
Allow the mind to translate and interpret,
the lovingness of Body and Soul.
Here, the Earth drums,
Vibrating within the infinite cacophony of absoluteness.
The journey is ever evolving.
Never be ashamed to surrender.
Formalities are lessor of an opinion,
Where there is pure motion and flight.
You can be the Spiritmuse if you choose to be,
Crystallized in dense translucent manifestation,
That intoxicates and absorbs goodness.
Let the music take you,
Beyond callous skepticism,
Beyond mental jockeying,
Beyond doubts and apathy,
Where you are reborn as an elixir,
active as mutable ether.
Dance in your head, and explore
Interpretations of the ancient and the new.
When you listen deeply, you can feel it.
Be fearless in your trance, and the Angels will come again.
Listen to the music, and let it take you.
Let it exalt and reveal,
the sacred and benevolent beauty of a Spiritmuse.
